Dr. Kate is an invaluable resource for the Oase team. Kate worked in a lake industry setting over the past 6 years and currently resides in Scotland, U.K. Kate researched and previously worked with lanthanum-modified bentonite and is experienced in different lake restoration techniques, particularly phosphorus mitigation measures. Her main work areas focus on the causes, effects and restoration of eutrophication impacts in lakes. More specifically, assessing water quality and sediment quality, aquatic macrophyte communities, phytoplankton communities and stress responses in aquatic plants.
Kate completed her PhD research in 2020 which investigated the recovery of aquatic plants following lanthanum-modified bentonite applications based at the U.K. Centre for Ecology & Hydrology and the University of Stirling, Scotland. Kate undertook her MSc at the University of East Anglia in Applied Ecology & Conservation in England.
Jordan is dedicated to launching Oase Professional’s Lake Therapy solutions in the North America market, building on their European success, and bringing value to prospects and customers with his knowledge and expertise. With over 10 years in the environmental industry, Jordan has led teams in sales and operations within lake management and product manufacturing companies.
Jordan began his career in Business Development at Aramark, where he honed his skills before moving into leadership roles at premier lake management and water technology manufacturing companies which encompassed strategic sales initiatives and operational execution. This background uniquely positions Jordan to drive Oase Professional’s expansion efforts effectively.
Greg gained valuable experience over the years as a Business Development Representative in the industrial water treatment industry, working for several of the largest global water treatment companies. In 2022, he made the switch to the Aquatics industry working in nutrient remediation, addressing the root cause of unhealthy water bodies. His science background has been invaluable as he helps to position the Oase Lake Therapy product line for the Lake and Pond Management industry. You will find Greg at all of the conferences, sharing his knowledge and networking with key players in the industry.
When he’s not working, you can find him traveling with his wife and three grown children, camping, fly fishing, hunting upland gamebirds or chasing birdies on the golf course.
